Smart cars, Intelligent Highways (brief summary from the book) In the near future, cars may be virtually stuffed with computer chips from front fender to taillight. Many of the smart features we are seeing today are safety-related.  This may use sonar, radar, lasers, computers, or video cameras, or some combination of these.  These objects beep or warm drivers with a voice signal if the vehicle gets too close to an object. One of the most convenient aspects of smart cars is their ability to navigate (by means of a GPS navigation). Mastering the law of gravity Comment about the class: This unit is so interesting because try about a choreographer named Yuen Wo-Ping who made many action movies. In the class the teacher spoke about his life, the movies that he made, and so on. In this unit the teacher explained the vocabulary as words we didnt know the meaning. Yuen Wo-Ping Yuen Wo-Ping is considered the world`s foremost action choreographer. He was born in 1945 in Guangzhan, China, the eldest of twelve children.

Mastering the Law of Gravity This unit, is about Yuen Wo-Ping an action choreographer who is considered the world's foremost.  He has directed more than 50 movies his first one was the well-regarded snake in the Eagle's shadow (1978), starring for Yackie Chan. According to the book he helped catapult action stars Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Jet Li to international fame. from google images video from you tube` Personal Opinion This unit was very interesting for me because I had seen a lot of action movie of  Yackie Chan, Jet Li and others, but I didn't know their action choreographer.  I'ts good to know him couse I love action movies.  As I can see he is really good at it. On the other hand I really enjoyed this unit because the professor Atilano was funny making examples about action movies. LOL

He is known for his work on El tigre y el dragón (2000), Kung fu (2004) and Kill Bill: La venganza, volúmen 2 (2004). UNIT 2: URBAN LEGENDS

Dominican Republic has some urban legends which are: The Bacá: That is an animal creature created with witchcraft. You make a pact with the evil to acquire good materials and to have protections. But all this have condition, you have to give a soul of the son or daughter, or anyone you love so much. The Witches: they take flight saying ¨Without God and Saint Maria¨ to access the darkest forces. This one they suck the children´s blood that aren´t baptizing. The Ciguapa: It is a nocturnal being and they prefer the dark areas of the forests. When it comes out it is because they seek to feed themselves as fish, fruits or birds. On the other hand, they like to steal butter and raw meat from those places that are accessible to them. Another one of their tastes is the corn or grains that they find.
