Urban Legends unit 2
According to the book since the dawn of languages, people have told stories. All cultures have collections of tales handed down from generation to generation that are collectively known as ''folklore''. Urban legends are simply contemporary examples of folklore.

My Brief Comment About Urban Legends
The Vacá
In this unit, we were talking about some Dominican urban legends. One of them is ''el Bacá''. Is when somebody makes a pact with the devil that could be an animal and at night become in a monster. Some people say have heard it at midnight dragging a string.from google images
Dominican Witches
Another one is the Dominican witches they fly on their broomsticks at midnight believers say that like to suck children's blood.

La Ciguapa
To end ''la ciguapa'' is a beautiful woman with long hair lives in the mountain, are always naked and their feet face backward making impossible track them. The man who looks them is bewitched and follow her into the forest where she has sex before killing him.from google images
